Korkage - Shipping Details

Shipping

Overview: We process and ship orders as quickly as possible, but note that it may take us an additional day or two to process your order for shipment. If your order has a certain deadline arrival date, please make us aware of that so we can act appropriately. For example, if you don't tell us it needs to arrive in time for Aunt Patty's birthday, we won't know that. We cannot guarantee an exact delivery date for Ground services. Please note that an ADULT SIGNATURE will be required for all alcohol shipments and we CANNOT waive this requirement. For instance, we will disregard any instructions that indicate something like "leave on doorstep". We CANNOT deliver to a Post Office Box. If any package is returned to us for any reason after three delivery attempts, (and we didn't make an error to cause the problem) the customer is still responsible for delivery charges, and we'll have to charge shipping again if a re-shipment is requested. On occasion, we can contact our shippers and change the address while the package is enroute, and an additional charge will apply. We are not responsible for any damage that may result due to weather conditions, so please be certain that it's OK to ship to your address, weather-wise. If you have provided a valid email address, we'll send along a tracking number for your shipment upon pickup. These tracking numbers may come from us, UPS, FedEx or from Quantum View so watch out for that email. Even though your order may have multiple pieces, you might receive only one tracking number by email, but when you track it online at the shipper's site, you'll have the option to see all packages in the shipment.

Shipping address: Please provide an address where we can get an adult signature upon delivery. If you are shipping to a business, please make sure to provide the business' name, phone number, and complete address (including floor, suite, etc.). We are only responsible for making sure we ship to the address you specify as the shipping address, so be certain you've provided the correct shipping address. We cannot guarantee any changes made to any order after it has been submitted.

A NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING RATES: In order to keep our wine prices as low as possible, we have been forced to increase many of our shipping rates at this time. Shipping rates will vary, as all orders are rated by weight. We DO NOT make any profit from shipping charges; we pass along the rates we are charged by our shippers. As fuel surcharges increase or decrease, we will adjust our shipping rates, so what you pay for shipping today may be slightly different the next time you order.

Ground-This is the basic service, and transit time will be 2-5 business days for most locations. Note that business days exclude weekends and holidays, and it may take us an additional day or two to process and prepare your order for shipment. Also, we are not reponsible for any delay resulting from weather or other conditions out of our control. If you choose ground, UPS, FedEx, or a common carrier will handle the shipment.

2 Day: This expedited service is two business days in transit. Note that business days exclude weekends and holidays, and it may take us an additional day or two to process and prepare your order for shipment. Also, we are not reponsible for any delay resulting from weather or other conditions out of our control. Unless specially requested, we do not ship any expedited service to include a weekend. For instance, we don't ship 2 Day orders on Thursday since they won't arrive until Monday.

3 Day: This expedited service is three business days in transit. Note that business days exclude weekends and holidays, and it may take us an additional day or two to process and prepare your order for shipment. Also, we are not reponsible for any delay resulting from weather or other conditions out of our control. Unless specially requested, we do not ship any expedited service to include a weekend. For instance, we don't ship 3 Day orders on Wednesday since they won't arrive until Monday.

Next Day Saver (Overnight): This expedited service is one business day in transit. Note that business days exclude weekends and holidays, and it may take us an additional day or two to process and prepare your order for shipment. Also, we are not reponsible for any delay resulting from weather or other conditions out of our control. Unless specially requested, we do not ship any expedited service to include a weekend. For instance, we don't ship Overnight orders on Friday since they won't arrive until Monday.

Next Day AM (Overnight, AM delivery): This expedited service is one business day in transit, with delivery by Noon the next business day. Note that business days exclude weekends and holidays, and it may take us an additional day or two to process and prepare your order for shipment. Also, we are not reponsible for any delay resulting from weather or other conditions out of our control. Unless specially requested, we do not ship any expedited service to include a weekend. For instance, we don't ship Overnight orders on Friday since they won't arrive until Monday.

ACCESSORIES SHIPPING with wine: Whenever possible, we will combine your accessories, books, or other miscellaneous with your wine shipment, and deduct the accessory shipping charge from your total.

Returns

Korkage (www.korkage.com) is a deep-discount retailer, and we provide the best service possible given our low prices. For this reason, all wines are sold on an "as-is" basis and returns are not accepted, nor are they processed for refunds or store credits. Our enforcement of this policy may be affected by the circumstances surrounding the order. Please contact us at sales@korkage.com for further details.

Under California State Law, alcohol may not be returned.

Your receipt or invoice will be REQUIRED for any return or credit, and no returns or credits will be issued without our prior approval.

Normally, unless we make an error, we do not provide refunds or credit for returned wines.

In all cases, no returns will be accepted and no credits will be provided after 90 days of the purchase date or ship date, whichever is later, regardless of any other circumstance.
